Could this possibly be true? The Knicks are fortunate to finally have gotten rid of Melo a few years ago and now you want to bring him back – and why? He’s a fan favorite? His 42% field goal percentage is attractive? The dude still can’t play defense and he still won’t come off the bench. Is the intention then to stifle the development of the young talent?
SU is more and more convinced that anyone on this blog subscriber list can be an NBA GM. Look, it’s only a rumor but if they did this, what is even the point? No words.
Meanwhile, when is Aaron Judge going to make his debut? This cannot be good that he is nursing a sore shoulder. Keep an eye on Yankee prospect Florial who can play center field. He might be the big surprise to crack the line up this year – they could certainly use him.
Greg Bird in the line up today for Texas. 0 for 10 for the spring. It’s now a race to see if he can somehow get his first hit of the spring before the inevitable injury. Should be close. Mike Tauchman is also still 0 for the spring – needs to get going as he is an SU fave. Tyler Wade at .071. No one fails to take advantage of his chances more than Wade. But he is a Cashman fave so he probably doesn’t have to do anything to make the roster come April.

Leon Rose is the guy who talked dimwit Dolan into trading half the Knicks team for Carmelo Anthony. Instead of banishing him from the Garden, he is now the Knicks president. The Knicks are a team that plays little defense. Adding an aging player who refuses to play defense is a nonsensical move, just the type of move that Dimwit Dolan excels at.
I have no comment about the worthless Knicks. I’m amazed how much people will spend to watch a D league team most of the time. It doesn’t matter how great a coach you have. He is not out there playing. Belechek showed us all that he is no God when you lack offensive talent.
The alarm bells are slowly increasing on the longevity that Aaron Judge may not have bases on so many nagging issues with his massive body. Age-wise he is supposedly at his peak of physical health. What’s going to happen when he turns 30. If he only plays around 120-130 games this season do you offer him a whopping 7+ year contract? Probably since he is bigger than his stats. He is a big draw so he makes the Owners alot of money. Then comes Sanchez…another medical problem. He needs to keep his weight down and so alot of stretching. Does he also get the big Contract? Can you imagine $800million+ between contracts for Stanton, Judge and Sanchez? Toss in Cole and you have well over 1 billion invested. Ahh… the new Core 4. Now can they win 3 or 4 World Series together?
