Well, that didn’t take long. MLB is going to announce that Domingo German will not pitch again this year. Big blow to the Yankees’ chances. You can go with Severino, Paxton and Tanaka and then an opener for game 4 or perhaps CC/Happ.
As Joe Girardi used to say, “It’s not what you want.” But clearly a bigger issue at work here than just pitching for the Yankees.
SU says enjoy the rest of the regular season and hope for the best in October. The Twins feel like the better match-up in the ALDS round vs. either Tampa Bay or Oakland. SU is lowering its goal now to just making the ALCS round and facing Houston. Getting to the World Series now seems awfully challenging.

I feel we have enough to win it sl. We are hungry, show more patience at bat…have a good balance of contact hitters and power hitters should g almost as much patience. Paxton’s and Tanaka are on their game.
We have had success hitting all the top pitchrrs including Houston as well as the ace for the Dodgers. I think our focus and hunger and a very deep line if hitters and pitchers will all contribute.
Starting lineup is LeMahue. Judge. Torrez Sanchez. Ushella or Voit. DD. Voit or Urshella anyone but Stanton and then Gardner
