Aaron Judge: Ready to Break Out

SU was very excited to see this from the Yankees’ first spring training game:

Supposedly, Judge has altered his batting stance during the off season and will be cutting down on those strikeouts.  Of course, it’s just February but we need to think positively.

  1. He reminds me of Dave Kingman!

Sorry to say it but this kid has a hole in his swing the size of the Grand Canyon. He will make Chris Carter seem like Rod Carew.

  2. Just read in the Post that Tanaka and Betances looked sharp in practice. Then went on to read that they overmatched Carter, Gardner, and Headley. My guess is that you would not necessarily consider that so impressive.

    1. Ha ha, love these comments. Betances is picturing Randy Levine in the batter’s box and will throw a record 80 consecutive scoreless innings this year. Jeff: I say Judge has fixed the hole in his swing and I am not even close to the Chris Carter bandwagon yet. And Andy, totally agree. If the Yankees are in range come July 31st, they will make a push as the fans are close to checking out.
