Report: Cano Unhappy in Seattle and Wants to Return to NY

I know: this is shocking news!  Shocking, I say.  Who would ever have expected this to happen after Cano left for the big money and joined a losing team?

The Yankees apparently feel they need an upgrade at 2nd base.  SU predicted 2 years ago that he would be back with the Yankees in a few years.  If Seattle agrees to pay half his salary for the remainder of the contract, does Cashman bite on this?

  1. Yes. But no more than 50%. He might return to form but it won’t last into his 40s. Maybe Jay Z picks up a percentage too?
